OONY is happy to assist you with your ticketing needs - orders, replacing lost or misplaced tickets, or taking your ticket donation.

TICKET POLICIES

For personal assistance, call OONY at 212-799-1982, 10am - 5pm, Monday - Friday.

On domestic orders, we must receive your order at least 14 days in advance of the performance (7 days in New York City) to allow tickets to reach you by mail. All other orders will be at the Carnegie Hall Box Office for pick-up after 5:30 the night of the performance.

Unfortunately, we cannot be responsible for tickets lost or misdirected by the Postal Service. You must notify the Opera Orchestra prior to the first performance if you have not received or have mislaid your tickets.

Please keep a record of the performance dates. Operas and casts are subject to change. We regret that no refunds or exchanges can be made once the tickets have been mailed. Neither the acceptance of charges nor the deposit of checks constitutes acceptance of your order, but if your order is not accepted, a refund will be made.

All orders placed through OONY are subject to a handling fee -- $5 per subscription order or $3.50 per ticket on all individual and student ticket purchases.

Seating for Renewing Subscription Orders

Returning subscribers retain the right to renew their locations from the previous season until our Subscription Priority Deadline of June15, 2007, after which OONY cannot guarantee the availability of the locations. Returning subscribers can also request a seat change when ordering.

Seating for New Subscribers and Subscribers Requesting Seat Changes

Seating priority for new subscribers and returning subscribers requesting seat changes are ranked by the following criteria:
1. Returning Subscribers by purchase date with priority for Donors and Guild Members
2. New Subscribers by purchase date with priority for Donors and Guild Members

Seating for Single Ticket Orders

Advanced ticket orders will be seated after subscribers have been assigned their seats. Seating order is ranked by the following criteria:
1. Subscribers requesting additional tickets
2. Donors and Guild Members
3. General orders by purchase date.

A note about box seating: Except in rare cases, the seating assignment in the boxes are rotated to ensure a balanced assignment of front row locations among subscribers.

Due to the configuration of Carnegie Hall, many of the seats in the Second Tier Side price range have obstructed views. Single ticket buyers in this location have minimal chance of purchasing a front row seat and therefore will likely receive a location marked OBSTRUCTED VIEW.

Orders through Carnegie Hall

Tickets ordered through Carnegie Hall are subject to the Carnegie Hall Ticketing Policy

Transfer your tickets to a friend

To give your tickets to a friend without transferring the actual tickets, call 212-799-1982 by noon the day of the performance to have location pass(es) left at the Box Office.

Lost or misplaced your tickets

You must contact OONY at least 14 days in advance of the performance (7 days in New York City) in order for replacement passes to be mailed to you. If OONY (212-799-1982) is notified by noon on the day of the performance, passes will be held at the Box Office, available for pick-up after 5:30 the night of the performance. Otherwise visit the House Manager’s Window (furthest to the left as you enter the Carnegie Lobby) beginning 30 minutes before the performance to have replacement passes created.

IMPORTANT NOTE:  Please keep track of your tickets and make sure to bring them with you to the performance! Due to heavy traffic at the House Manager’s Window on performance nights, we cannot guarantee that Carnegie Hall be able to issue passes and give you entry to the theatre prior to curtain.  Once the curtain goes up, you may not be seated until Intermission.

Ticket Exchange

No exchanges can be made once the tickets have been mailed.
